KINGS

Kings is a television series that chronicles the history of the nation of Israel, starting with the last judge, the prophet Samuel, chosen by God to lead His people, and ending with the heartbreaking downfall of Jerusalem at the hands of the Babylonian armies. The series explores the joys, challenges, and stories of Israel's most prominent kings as they navigate the nation’s path. It shines a light on David, who is celebrated for his unwavering love and faithfulness to God. We will also witness his son, Solomon, famous for his wisdom, as he rises to power and ultimately falls victim to his own pride. By examining the books of Psalms, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes, we will deepen our understanding of the writings in I and II Kings and I and II Chronicles, which will be uniquely brought to life for those who choose to engage with this rich historical narrative filled with invaluable lessons.
